Preparation Method :
- Stuff the fishes with the ground mixture. Roll in semolina and shallow fry to a golden colour. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams mackrels, cleaned, washed and incised
- Semolina for coating
Ground to Paste
- 1 onion
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- 4-5 red chillies
- 2-3 flakes garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 15 ml tamarind juice
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
