DEEP FRIED CRISPY MUSSELS

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the mussels in the chilli paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and ginger powder.
  • Mix marinated mussels with the rice flour and semolina till it is evenly coated.
  • Heat the oil and slide in the mussel one at a time and fry them till they are crisp and golden. Sprinkle on the lemon juice and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Mussels meat, cleaned, washed, drained and dried.
  • 75 grams Semolina
  • 50 grams Rice flour
  • 2 tablespoon Dried red chilli paste
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Cooking oil to deep fry
