BEEF CURRY

Preparation Method :

  • Mix together the ginger-garlic paste, all the spices and beef. Cover and cook with hot water till the beef is soft.
  • Remove from the gravy and fry in little oil to a golden colour. Cut it into pieces. Heat the oil and add onion and fry till soft.
  • Add the tomatoes and cook till soft and dry. Put in the green leaves and chillies. Mix well and add the gravy. Cook for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Transfer the beef and potatoes in a serving plate and pour the gravy on top.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg beef
  • 50 grams coriander leaves
  • Few mint leaves
  • 4 green chillies, slitted
  • Salt to taste
  • 100 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 225 grams baby potatoes, boiled and fried.
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 150 grams tomatoes

Ground to Paste

  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • Red chillies, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 6-8 garlic cloves
  • 50 ml vinegar
  • 1-inch piece ginger
