BEEF ASSADO

Preparation Method :

  • Mix salt, vinegar, ginger, garlic paste in a mixing bowl. Incise the meat with a sharp knife and keep overnight in refrigerator for marination.
  • Heat the oil in a large pan, fry the onion, tomatoes, green chillies and dry red chillies.
  • Add the marinated beef in the pan and fry till the colour turns golden brown colour.
  • Cover and simmer to low flame so that the water oozes out of the beef.
  • Finally add 3 cups of hot water and allow to cook till tender.
  • Adjust seasoning, Cool and slice. Serve hot with salad.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Beef
  • 100 ml Vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 2 grams Cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 175 ml IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
  • 100 grams Onion, chopped
  • 3 grams Clove
  • 3 grams Cinnamon
  • 100 grams Tomato, chopped
  • 4 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 100 grams Green Chillies, chopped
  • 2 grams Red dry chillies
  • Salt to taste
