HERVE KELE KARAM

Preparation Method :

  • In a pan add water and bananas. Boil till cooked.
  • Add tamarind pulp and salt and knead together. Now mix the cooked banana pieces to the mixture.
  • Make a small hole in the center of the mixture. Place a red hot charcoal in this hole and pour the coconut oil over it.
  • Cover the fuming charcoal of the mixture immediately so as to impart the aroma of the oil. Remove the coal after 3 - 5 minutes.
  • Mix the salad thoroughly and serve with the food.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Raw bananas, cut into small pieces 
  • 70 grams Fresh shredded coconut
  • 4 Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind pulp
  • ½ teaspoon Coconut oil
  • Salt to taste
