AMBALAPUZHA PALPAYASAM

Preparation Method :

  • Wash, drain and dry the rice thoroughly.
  • Bring the milk to a boil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add the sugar and rice.
  • Put on the weight and cook in simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Open the cooker once the pressure is totally released.
  • In a pan, heat the remaining ghee and fry the cashew nuts and raisins and add it to the Pal payasam.
  • Serve hot or chilled.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Litre Milk
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 100 grams Raw rice
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • 8 Raisins
  • 2 teaspoons ghee
