SPICY SHAKARKANDI (SWEET POTATO)

Serves :

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil or ghee. Add jeera.
  • When jeera turns golden, add green chillies. Fry for  about 2 minutes.
  • Add sweet potato, salt and pepper. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice. Mix well. Add a pinch of sugar.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 medium shakarkandi (sweet potatoes) - boiled, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil or ghee
  • ½ teaspoon jeera
  • 5 green chillies - deseeded and chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • A pinch of sugar 
  • Juice of ½  lemon
  • Some coriander leaves
