JODHPURI ALOO

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash potatoes well. Cut into 2 pieces. If using big potatoes cut in ½ " pieces.
  • Heat the fat and add jeera. When the colour changes to brown, add in the ginger. Fry for 1 minute.
  • Add chopped potatoes. Fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add salt and jeera powder. Mix well.
  • Add ½ cup water. Cover and simmer till done.
  • Add almond, raisin and amchoor. Mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams baby potatoes (or 4 big potatoes cut into ½ " pieces)
  • ¾ teaspoon jeera
  • 2 tablespoon ghee or Cooking oil
  • ½ " piece ginger - chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1 teaspoon amchur powder 
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon Golden Raisin

Garnishing

  • Some fresh chopped coriander leaves
