GULAB JAMOON

Gulab jamoons are favourite sweet of Indians during festival times. Will be good If you are taking along with the ice creams or make it hot by microwave before serve.
Makes :
40 Pieces

Preparation Time :
5 minutes

Cooking Time :
50 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the maidha with the khova and keep aside.
  • Heat necessary water to make sugar syrup.
  • When the water boils, put in the sugar and mix well with ladle.
  • When the sugar dissolves and gets the water becomes to sugar syrup and add rose essence, remove from flame.
  • Heat the kadhai/Pan with ghee.
  • Make small balls with the khova mix, fry them to golden brown colour and put them into the sugar syrup. The balls will observe the sugar syrup within a few minutes.
  • Now the gulab jamoons are ready.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Khova(Sweetless)
  • 400 grams Maida
  • 500 Grams ghee
  • 1.5 kg sugar
  • Few drops of Rose essence
