PAKORA (VEGETABLE FRITTERS)

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl (except chaat masala) and make the batter by gently pouring water.
  • Heat oil in a skillet. Take a teaspoon of batter and gently drop it in oil. Repeat it until skillet it covered.
  • Fry it until golden brown in colour. Drain the excess oil. Repeat the same with remaining batter.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala on top of pakoras.
  • Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams Chickpea Flour/gram flour
  • 2 tablespoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 1 potato (finely chopped)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 carrot (grated)
  • 10 spinach leaves (chopped)
  • ½ cabbage (shredded)
  • 20 cashew nuts (splits)
  • 1 green chilli (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • 2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • Water for batter
  • IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for frying
