RED GRAM PATTIES

Preparation Method :

  • Divide the batter into equal portions and shape each into patties.
  • Heat the oil in a wok or pan; add a few patties at a time and deep-fry till golden brown.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on absorbent kitchen towels.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney.

INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Coarsely Ground, to Stiff Paste
  • 250 grams, Red gram, washed, soaked and drained
  • 100 grams Onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon Green coriander, chopped
  • Few Curry leaves  
  • 3-4 Green chillies, chopped
  • 5-6 Garlic cloves, crushed
  • Salt to taste
