VEGETABLE PULAO

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Chop carrots semi-circular.
  • Shell peas and Cut beans diagonally lengthwise.
  • Chop onions thin and long and golden fry in a teaspoon of oil.
  • Pressure-cook the vegetables for greenness.
  • Fry jeera, cardamoms and cloves in ghee; wash rice well and saute with these ingredients. Pressure-cook directly for 2 whistles. Add fried onions and vegetables.
  • Serve hot with a vegetable korma or a paneer makhani.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams of basmati rice
  • 100 grams of peas
  • 250 grams of carrots
  • 250 grams of beans
  • 150 grams of onion
  • 2 tablespoon of IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of  jeera
  • 4 Cardamom
  • 2 Clove
  • 2 tablespoon of ghee
  • Salt to taste
