BADAM KATLI

Preparation Method :

  • Blanch the almonds in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and peel the almonds.
  • Heat a pan, dry roast the almonds till turns light brown.
  • Cool and Grind the almonds to make a powder.
  • Heat a pan, add sugar and water, stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add milk and cook till turns thick consistency.
  • Add almond powder and mix well.
  • Mix till the mixture turns smooth and pliable.
  • Transfer the mixture onto a flat surface and spread to cool a little.
  • Grease your palms with ghee and knead.
  • Spread it out in an aluminium tray.
  • Cut into diamonds or squares and serve.

  • 500 grams Almonds        
  • 200 grams Sugar              
  • 2 tablespoon Milk           
  • 4 sheets Silver warq
