Preparation Method :
- Soak the Bengal gram dal in 2 cups water for about an hour. Drain well.
- Grind the soaked dal to a fine batter, adding the red chillies, asafoetida powder, and salt.
- Mix the cauliflower, green peas, onion and curry leaves into the batter.
- Shape the batter into golf balls. Heat the oil, when hot drop in the ball shaped batter and fry till golden. Drain on kitchen paper.
- Serve hot with any chutney or curd.

- 1 teaspoon asafoetida powder
- 50 grams p cauliflower florets
- 30 grams shelled green peas
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- A few curry leaves
- 4 dry red chillies
- IDHAYAM MANTRA peanut Oil for frying
