Preparation Method :
- Heat a non stick pan. Add the besan and roast on medium heat till the light brown.
- Place the mince in a strainer and squeeze out excess water.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion till golden brown. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and grind to paste.
- Place the mince in a mixer blender. Add the brown onion paste, ginger- garlic paste, egg, salt, chilli and garam masala. Blend to get a sticky consistency. Remove in a bowl.
- Add roasted besan to the mince mixture with the chopped coriander and keep aside till frying.
- Heat oil in a shallow pan. Shape the mince into flat tikkis. Shallow fry on medium heat till brown on both sides.
- Garnish with onion rings and a mint sprig.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams lamb mince, Wash. Press well to squeeze out all the excess water.
- 2 onion - cut into slices
- 2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon gram flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for frying
