CHICKEN MASALA FRY

Preparation Method :

  • Combine chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste,coriander powder, garam masala and cumin powder in a bowl and mix well.
  • Leave aside for an hour to marinate chicken.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add marinated chicken in it. Add sufficient water to the marinated chicken and cook till tender and the gravy coats well with the chicken.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with naan, chapathi or roti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Chicken, Cut into medium-sized pieces
  • 2 medium Onions, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Red Chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 3 teaspoons Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 6 tablespoons Yogurt, whisked
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon fresh Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 100 ml IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil
