Preparation Method :
- Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies, water and fresh coriander until the lentils are soft but not mushy and the water has been absorbed.
- Turn off the heat and stir in the salt. Transfer into a serving bowl.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil and butter together and fry the chopped onion until golden brown.
- Pour the seasoning over the lentils in the bowl and garnish with the fresh coriander and chopped green chillies.

- ½ teaspoon diced and crushed ginger root
- ½ teaspoon crushed garlic
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- 500 ml water
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 50 grams butter
- 1 medium onion
Garnish
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
