Preparation Method :
- Add soaked dal with turmeric , salt and measured water .
- Cook for 10 -15 minutes or until the dal becomes tender and each grain is separate.
- Now remove the excess water. Keep aside.
- Meanwhile fry paneer and Fry finely chopped onion in ghee till it turns light brown. Add finely chopped ginger, and fry till onion turns golden brown.
- Add cumin seeds and fry until it splutter and add finely chopped green chillies and coriander leaves to the dal.
- Transfer it to the serving dish , garnish with chopped tomato .
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams split black beans , soaked for more than 30 minutes
- 750 ml water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 120 grams cottage cheese - cut into cubes & fried
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green chillies - finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1 small onion - finely chopped
- 1 medium firm tomato - finely chopped without pulp
- 50 grams Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
