Preparation Method :
- Grind all ingredients of the paste together.
- Heat ghee in a heavy pan. Add sliced onions. Fry for about 3-5 minutes till they turn brown.
- Add paste to the onions and sauté on medium heat for 5 minutes. Then add the boiled red lentil and salt with tomatoes. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grams Red lentil , 20 minutes
- 1 big onion - sliced finely
- 2 large tomatoes - chopped
- 5 pearl onions
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- 1½ tablespoon chopped coriander
- Salt to taste
Paste
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 dry red chilies
- 2 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1½ " piece ginger
