Preparation Method :
- Grind ginger & garlic to a paste.
- Cook the soaked dal in a pan with turmeric, cloves, ghee, bay leaf, salt and measured water for 15 -20 minutes.
- Simmer and cook for further 5-7 minutes.
- Add oil into the pan , when hot add onion and sauté it for 2 minutes . then add the tomatoes , coriander powder and garam masala.
- Finally add the mushrooms, ginger,garlic paste and capsicum , cook for 5 minutes on low flame .
- Stir in the dal , mix well and serve hot.

- 4 cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste

- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
