Preparation Method :
- In a bowl, Mix maida and water to make a smooth batter.
- Cover and keep aside for 20 Hours.
- Add food colour and two tablespoons of maida and beat the batter in your hands for ten minutes.
- Heat a pan, add sugar and water, stirring continuously, till the sugar dissolves.
- Add milk and cardamom powder and cook the syrup till turns thick consistency.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Pour the batter in a steady stream into the kadai to form coils. Make a few at a time.
- Deep fry them until they are golden and crisp all over but not brown.
- Remove from the kadai and drain on kitchen paper and immerse in the syrup.
- Leave for at least 5 minutes so that they soak the syrup.
- Take the jalebi out of syrup and serve hot.

- 400 grams Maida
- A pinch of Orange food colour
- 450 grams Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Milk
- ½ teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 500 ml IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil
