Preparation Method :
- Melt ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
- Add whole wheat flour and cook for 12-15 minutes on low heat, stirring continuously, till medium brown in colour. When aroma exudes and the flour is properly browned, take off the heat.
- Immediately spread in a tray. Cool till it comes to room temperature.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and add sugar. Mix well.
- Sprinkle milk and mix well again to get a mixture that binds well.
- Form tight fist shaped pinnies. This is done by taking some mixture and pressing in the fist. Top with sliced pistachio, and press again.

- 500 grams whole wheat flour
- 400 grams ghee
- 300 grams powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoon milk
- Seeds of 10 green cardamoms- powdered
- A few sliced pistachios to garnish
