Preparation Method :
- Mix maida, baking soda, ghee with water and make a soft dough and keep aside. Make Sugar syrup by adding 1½ cup of water to the sugar.
- Bring it boil and simmer it till it forms one thread consistency. Knead the dough thoroughly and make it into six equal portions, roll out each portion into a thin roti apply ghee over the rolled dough and sprinkle rice flour all over.
- Now place another roti rolled over the prepared one and seal the edges by rolling the edges. Slowly roll the chapathi tightly till the edge.
- Now cut the roll into 1 inch pieces .discard the extreme edges. Now take each piece and slightly roll them vertically like sticks.
- Deep fry in the oil on low flame till they puff very well and are crispy golden brown in color.
- Take out and put them into sugar syrup directly repeat the procedure till complete dough is consumed.
- Once they soaked in enough syrup place them in a storage container.
- These can be stored for more than a week if stored in an air tight humid free atmosphere.

- ½ kg Maida
- 600 grams Sugar
- 3 tablespoon Ghee
- 200 grams Rice flour
- Pinch of baking soda
- Cooking oil for frying
