Preparation Method :
- Parboil the rice and spread it out on a flat dish to cool.
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai; add cloves, green cardamom, and cinnamon stick.
- Add water, sugar, and saffron; stir till the syrup becomes slightly sticky.
- Add rice and stir carefully on low heat for 15 minutes or till the mixture is absolutely dry. Remove from heat.
- Add almonds, pistachios, and pine nuts; mix gently. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams Basmati Rice, soaked for 1 hour, drained
- 8 tablespoon Ghee
- 4 Cloves
- 4 Green cardamoms
- 1 Cinnamon, 1" stick
- 450 grams Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Saffron, soaked
- 25 grams Almonds, blanched
- 25 grams Pistachios, chopped
- 25 grams Pine nuts, peeled
