BEATEN RICE WITH COCONUT MILK

Preparation Method :
- Grind the grated coconut and extract milk twice. First will be thick milk and then the second extract will be thin milk.
- Cook the beaten rice along with jiggery, chopped dry fruits and turmeric leaf in the thin coconut juice and 1 cup water. Add salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the thick coconut milk, reduce the heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Remove and serve hot or cold.
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 turmeric leaf
- 2 tablespoon chopped dry fruits
- 100 grams beaten rice (poha), Rinse, Drain and allow to stand for 10 minutes
- 100 grams jaggery
- 250 grams grated coconut
