Preparation Method :
- Wash the pawa and set aside. Bring the milk to the boil over a medium heat with the cardamom seeds.
- Add the sugar and pawa and stir for about 10 minutes until the mixture is thick.
- Now add the rosewater, remove from the heat and transfer to a serving dish.
- Decorate with the pistachio nuts, almonds and nutmeg, if using. Chill for about 1-2 hours before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams flaked rice ( pawa)
- 1 litre full-fat milk
- 4 green cardamoms, with husks removed and the seeds crushed
- 10 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon rosewater
Decoration
- 50 grams unsalted pistachio nuts
- 50 grams flaked almonds
- Pinch nutmeg
