KESARI 'MILK TRUFFLES'

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Dissolve the saffron into the milk for about 8-10 minutes. Add the sugar, zest and crumbled paneer.
  • Knead for about 3-5 minutes or until it turns to even and creamy mass. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Take a spoonful of the mixture, shape it into small balls and roll them in the almonds.
  • Chill for few minutes or until ready but bring back to room temperature to serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 125 grams low-fat paneer, crumbled    
  • 1 tablespoon hot milk
  • Icing sugar to taste
  • Few saffron strands
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 30 grams almonds, blanched, skinned and finely chopped
