Preparation Method :
- Soak the saffron in warm milk.
- Grate the khoya. Add powdered sugar and mix well.
- Put mixture in a large heavy pan. Heat on medium flame for few minutes. Reduce the flame and cook till soft.
- When the mixture is thick, add cardamom and saffron.
- Mix well, and remove from flame. Allow to cool.
- Shape pedas with palms into patty rounds. Mix pistachios and cardamom seeds and press a bit on top of each.

- 500 grams khoya
- 300 grams sugar powdered
- ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds semi crushed
- 1 tablespoon crushed pistachios
- A few strands of saffron
- 1 tablespoon warm milk
