Preparation Method :
- Soak saffron strands in hot water in a bowl and set aside.
 - Combine condensed milk along with milk and crushed cardamoms in a heavy-bottomed saucepan and cook on medium flame by continuous stirring until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a wooden spoon.
 - Reduce the flame and mix the grated orange rind and continue cooking for 5 more minutes.
 - Remove from heat and add soaked saffron with the water and stir well.
 - Wet the kulfi moulds and pour the kulfi mixture into them. Place the moulds in the freezer for about 6 hours or till set.
 - To serve, dip the moulds in hot water, unmould the kulfi and cut into slices.
 - Serve immediately, garnished with orange zest.
 
INGREDIENTS
For Kulfi:
- 2 teaspoons finely grated orange rind
 - 4 green cardamoms, crushed
 - ½ teaspoon saffron strands
 - 400 grams sweetened condensed milk
 - 250 ml milk
 - 6 kulfi or Popsicle moulds
 
For Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
