Preparation Method :
- Boil water with sugar, cardamom seeds and food colour. Keep aside.
- Heat ghee in a kadhai, add semolina and plain flour. Lower heat and cook the semolina for 5-7 minutes till the semolina is very light golden in colour, keep stirring continuously.
- Add almonds and raisins and stir for a few seconds more.
- Add the hot sugar syrup and stir for about 4-5 minutes till semolina absorbs the water.
- Remove from heat when the water is absorbed and the halwa stops spluttering.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams semolina
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 200 grams sugar
- 3 green cardamoms seeds - crushed
- Pinch of orange food colour
- 100 grams ghee
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- 2 tablespoon chopped almonds
