RAWA PINEAPPLE SHEERA

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Add semolina and fry over low heat for about 3 - 5 minutes. Remove the rawa from fire and keep aside.
  • In a clean pan add measured water and milk, exactly double the quantity of semolina.
  • Then stir in the semolina slowly over low heat in circular motions. Keep stirring, Stir in the sugar. make sure that no lumps of the rawa be formed.
  • Add the cashewnuts, raisins, saffron and the pineapple pieces.
  • Sprinkle some cardamom powder and add spoonful ghee. Garnish with cashewnuts and raisins.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 ml milk
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 150 grams semolina (rawa)
  • 125 grams chopped fresh pineapple / tinned
  • 250 ml water
  • A few strands of saffron
  • Cashewnuts and raisins
