Preparation Method :
- Melt the jaggery in a large non-stick frying pan and stir over a low to moderate heat until melted.
- Stir often and crush up any pieces. When smooth, stir in the carom seeds and fennel, followed by the walnut halves. Stir until well coated.
- Place each walnut half individually on a sheet of greaseproof paper. Pour the whole lot on to the paper, work quickly and separate the pieces with two forks.
- Allow it to cool and harden. Store it in an airtight container and garnish for a dessert.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams walnut halves
- 100 grams jaggery
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds
- ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
