Preparation Method :
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C/ 325 °F/ Gas 3.
- In a heavy bottomed pan, heat sugar and caramelize in low flame by constantly stirring till the sugar turns golden in color and immediately take the pan from the heat.
- Add the caramel in 8 individual molds and turn them around to coat at the sides of the mould. Keep aside for 10 minutes until the caramel is set.
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl along with sugar, vanilla essence, milk, nutmeg powder and salt.
- In the caramel-coated mould, pour custard and cover with aluminium foil.
- Place the moulds on a baking pan and pour boiling water up to 1 inch depth. Bake it in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes.

- 5 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 1½ teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 750 ml Warm Milk
- 200 grams Sugar
- Pinch of Nutmeg powder
- Salt to taste
