Preparation Method :
- Place the semolina and sugar in a heavy-based pan and gradually stir in the milk until smooth.
- Add the butter in small pieces. Bring to the boil for 2-3 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Add the cardamoms and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes or until the mixture leaves the side of the pan.
- Spread the mixture on a greased plate or in a shallow dish to a thickness of 1 inch. Leave until almost cold, then decorate with the almonds.
- Serve cold, cut into slices or squares.

- 75 grams fine semolina
- 150 grams granulated sugar
- 500 ml milk
- 50 grams butter
- 10 cardamom pods, peeled and crushed
- 100 grams blanched almonds, halved and toasted
