NUTS WITH ROSE PETALS CHIKKI

Preparation Method :
- Cut the nuts into half carefully to get even pieces. Microwave these for 1½ minutes. Cool.
- Take a non stick flat pan, add sugar and 2 tablespoon of water. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes till the water evaporates.
- Continue stirring on low heat for 3 minutes till the sugar starts to melt.
- Once it starts to melt, it barely takes a minute to melt completely.
- Add the nuts and rose petals into the melted sugar and mix quickly. Grease the kitchen platform with oil and pour the chikki mixture on it.
- Lightly roll out with a rolling pin to get a thin chikki. If you like square pieces make light cuts with a knife while it is still warm. Cool completely and break into pieces.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 grams sugar
- 100 grams mixed nuts - cashew nuts, almonds and pistachios
- 50 grams dried rose petals
