Preparation Method :
- Heat the sugar with 1 cup water on low heat to make a thick syrup. Remove the scum from the syrup.
- Add the grated coconut, food colour, crushed cardamoms. Mix well.
- Turn off the heat while it still has a thick pouring consistency. Add the chopped cashew nuts. Mix well.
- Grease a plate with ghee and set aside.
- Pour the coconut mixture on the greased plate and quickly spread with a spatula.
- After a few minutes cut into square shaped pieces with a sharp knife.
- Store in an airtight container.
INGREDIENTS
- 175 grams sugar
- 150 grams grated fresh coconut
- 6 green cardamoms, crushed
- 2 teaspoon ghee
- A Pinch of food colour of your choice
- 40 grams cashew nuts, chopped
