Preparation Method :
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pan over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the ginger and coriander leaves. Simmer over medium heat for other 2-3 minutes.
- Stir the spice powders into the mixture.
- Add the tomato puree. When the mixture boils add the garlic, adjust seasoning with salt and stir well.
- Simmer to low flame for 6-7 minutes and remove from heat.

- 150 grams finely chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 30 grams chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 teaspoon rasam powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper and cumin powder
- 50 grams tomato puree
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- Salt, to taste
