Preparation Method :
- Melt the remaining butter in a deep pan. Add the tapioca and fry for a few minutes, stirring continuously.
- Slowly add 1 cup of milk at a time stirring over low- medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes or until the tapioca turns tender.
- Add the food coloring, along with the cardamom, saffron strands, crystalline camphor and sugar. Stir well over low heat.
- Add the cashew nuts and raisins. Remove from heat and keep covered.
INGREDIENTS
- 90 grams tapioca
- 500 ml milk
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 30 grams raw cashew nut halves, fried in half of the butter
- A pinch of yellow food coloring
- ¼ teaspoon powdered green cardamom
- Few saffron strands
- Small pieces crystalline camphor
- Sugar, to taste
- 1 teaspoon seedless golden raisins
