Preparation Method :
- Grind all the chutney ingredients with ½ cup of hot water and grind to make a smooth paste. Adjust seasoning with salt. Transfer to a bowl and mix well.
- The Tempering: Place the oil in a skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add asafetida and mustard seeds. Fry till the mustard seeds splutter.
- Pour the seasoning over the chutney.
INGREDIENTS
Chutney
- 30 grams chopped onions
- 30 grams grated coconut
- 30 grams roasted chana or roasted peanuts
- ½ teaspoon tamarind paste
- 150 grams washed, chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Green chilies, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Tempering
- 2 teaspoon Cooking oil
- ¼ asafetida powder
- 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
