- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl with water to smooth and thick batter.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or wok.
- Coat the plantain slices by dipping in the batter.
- Fry them in batches over medium heat, till they are golden brown on both sides.
- Drain bajji on paper towels and serve with any chutney.

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 green plantain, peeled and finely sliced
- Pinch of Red colour powder(Bajji Powder)
