- Dry-roast the cumin seeds for about a minute or two. Cool slightly, then grind using a pestle and mortar.
- Place the yogurt, milk, lemon juice, dry-roasted and ground cumin and salt into a blender or food processor.
- Add some ice cubes and blend briefly.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, then pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.

- 250 ml chilled milk
- 50 ml lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt, to taste
