MAANGA CHANGAA

Preparation Method :

  • Soak the mango in water for ½ an hour to 1 hour to get rid of any pesticides and coated preservatives on the skin. Wash the mango thoroughly in running water.
  • Cut the mango into large chunks.
  • Boil them in 2 glasses of water. Can be pressure cooked as well (2 whistles).
  • Cool the mixture.
  • Blend it in a blender and strain. Add water to make 4 glasses.
  • Add jaggery, black salt, roasted jeera powder and blend again.
  • Chill the drink.
  • Pour in a tall glass. Garnish with finely chopped mint leaves or tulsi leaves and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 raw mango
  • 4 tablespoon jaggery
  • ½ teaspoon black salt
  • ½ teaspoon roasted jeera powder
  • ½ teaspoon dry ginger powder
