Preparation Method :
- Combine bean curd, soy beans, shallots, coriander leaves, Chinese mushrooms, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt and pepper.
- Place filling onto each wonton skin. Gather outer edges of skin around filling.
- Press gently so that filling rises to the top of skin. The base should be flat. Place a lettuce leaf in steamer.
- Arrange dim sum on top, leaving space between each to prevent sticking. Steam 10 minutes.
- Serve with soy vinegar dip.
INGREDIENTS
- 30 wonton skins
- Lettuce leaf, for steaming
Filling
- 300 grams firm bean curd, finely chopped
- 200 grams soy beans, cooked and mashed
- 2 shallots finely cut
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 4 tablespoons celery, finely chopped
- 4 Chinese mushrooms, soaked in warm water 20 minutes and chopped
- 4 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper
