FRIED CHICKEN WONTONS

Serves :
4

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Make a tight dough using flour, cornflour, egg & water. Keep in a cool place covered with a wet cloth for 30 minutes.
  • Mix all ingredients of the stuffing together.
  • Take out the dough & roll out flat as then as possible. Cut square sheets.
  • Put a little stuffing on the middle & seal the sides using egg. Give it a boat shape or a bag shape with the stuffing in the centre.
  • Deep fry in hot oil fill golden brown. Drain.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chilli sauce.

INGREDIENTS

Stuffing

  • 100 grams cooked chicken mince
  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onions
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon aji-no-moto
  • 2 egg whites - beaten

Wonton Sheets

  • 200 grams flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 eggs water - for dough
  • IDHAYAM Sesame Oil - for frying
