Preparation Method :
- Cover mushrooms with boiling water, cover, stand 20 - 30 minutes; drain. Remove and discard stalks, chop the mushroom caps finely.
- Mince steak, add onion, carrot, shallots, mushrooms, sauces and garlic, mix well.
- Roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, roll in sesame seeds.
- Deep fry balls in hot oil for about 3 minutes or until cooked through; drain on absorbent paper.
- Heat Sauce in wok, add balls and toss until well coated.
- Sauce: Combine all ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams scotch fillet steak
- 4 dried mushrooms
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 green shallots, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 100 grams sesame seeds
- Cooking Oil for deep frying
Sauce
- 2 teaspoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
