Preparation Method :
- Shape mince with wet hands into balls 2 cm in diameter.
- Combine egg, flour, salt and pepper to form a batter. Pour over beef balls to coat.
- Heat oil for deep-frying. Add about six balls at a time, fry until golden; drain.
- Arrange on a serving platter or thread on satay sticks.
- To make sauce, heat oil in a wok. Add garlic, vegetables and pineapple, stir-fry 3 minutes.
- Stir in sugar, vinegar, water, soy and tomato sauces. Stir in blended corn flour to thicken.
- Spoon sauce over balls or serve separately in a bowl.

- 1½ kg lean beef, minced twice
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 8 tablespoons plain flour
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 500 ml Cooking Oil for deep-frying

- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons red capsicum cut in 1 cm dice
- 2 tablespoons green capsicum cut in 1 cm dice
- 2 tablespoons bamboo shoots cut in 1 cm dice
- 2 tablespoons pine apple cut in 1 cm dice
- 500 grams sugar
- 500 ml white vinegar
- 500 ml water
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 5 tablespoons corn flour blended with
- 200 ml water
