SWEET AND SOUR CAULIFLOWER

Preparation Method :

  • Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Add the cauliflower to the pan and cook for 2 minutes. Drain the cauliflower thoroughly.
  • Heat the oil in a large preheated wok.
  • Add the onion and carrots to the wok and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the drained cauliflower and mange tout (snow peas) to the wok and stir-fry for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Add the mango and bean sprouts to the wok and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  • Mix together the coriander (cilantro), lime juice, honey and coconut milk in a bowl.
  • Add the coriander (cilantro) and coconut mixture to the wok and stir-fry for about 2 minutes or until the juices are bubbling.
  • Transfer the sweet and sour cauliflower stir-fry to serving dishes.
  • Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams cauliflower florets
  • 4 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 500 grams carrots, sliced
  • 200 grams mange tout (snow peas)
  • 2 ripe mangos, sliced
  • 200 grams bean sprouts
  • 6 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • 6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons clear honey
  • 10 tablespoons coconut milk
