CHINESE PORK SPARERIBS

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the spare ribs in a large bowl and cover with the plum sauce. Cover with plastic wrap  and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil. Add the rice and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, until tender. Drain well and set aside.
  • Place a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill with the sesame oil. Grill the spareribs for 10 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  • Arrange the rice on serving plates and top with the spareribs. Garnish with the cilantro and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 pork spareribs
  • 200 ml Chinese plum sauce
  • 500 grams wild rice
  • 5 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 5 tablespoons fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves
