PORK IN FRESH PLUM SAUCE

Preparation Method :
- Slice pork into thin strips, toss in combined corn flour and five spice powder.
- Heat oil in wok, add pork mixture, stir-fry over high heat until pork is well browned. Add the chopped onions and celery, stir-fry few minutes.
- Stir in Plum Sauce, heat through quickly and serve.
- Plum Sauce: Heat oil in wok; add onion and ginger, stir-try until onion is soft.
- Add chopped plums then remaining ingredients, cover, cook until plums are soft. Puree Sauce in blender or processor until smooth.

- 1 kg pork fillet
- 2 medium onions
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
- ½ teaspoon five spice powder
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 4 sticks celery, sliced
Plum Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
- 500 grams fresh plums, peeled, pitted
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 100 ml water
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
