FISH MEAT BALL SOUP

Serves :

Preparation Time :
25 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Clean the fish. Remove the flesh and bones. Mash the flesh.
  • Take minced meat and fish flesh and mix well adding salt, pepper, sugar, ajinomoto, eggs, soya sauce and cornflour.
  • Make small balls of the mixture. Take cold water in a pan and put all the balls it. Put the pan on fire. When cooked remove and keep aside.
  • Put the fish and meat bones in 6 cups water with salt and cook for 15 minutes. Strain well and remove bones.
  • Add ajionomoto and sugar. Put the balls and cook soup for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Check seasonings and sprinkle spring onions over it and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

Balls

  • 500 grams fish
  • 250 grams minced mutton
  • ½ teaspoon aji-no-moto
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 eggs

Soup

  • 1 litre water
  • Fish and mutton bones
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ajinomoto
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
